#5: The Giver Quartet by Lois Lowry
I read the first book in this series about a year ago now and I freaking loved it. My mind was blown out the window by how good it was. I own the second book but I still haven't read it. Why? NO IDEA. The book is short and I want to see what it is actually going to be about but I haven't picked it up yet. It's just sitting on my nightstand begging to be read but I keep ignoring it in favor of another book to start another series. I don't feel too bad about this one though because I feel like a lot of other people have also read the first book but haven't continued the series either.
#4: Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
I'm so sorry if I misspelled her name. But this series has been out for a while and everyone raves about it. I just read the first book last month and I really enjoyed it. Not to the point of giving it a five out of five stars, but really close. Again, I just started it last month so I really just feel bad about not having read the book sooner but I do own the rest of the series so I think this one will be completed sooner than the others because I can't wait to see what happens!
#3: The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
This series has been complete for a while now but I didn't read Never Fade until this year. I read The Darkest Minds back when it first came out but the high prices of hardback books kept me from buying the second one sooner. And, again, now that I've read the second one, the high prices of hardbacks are keeping me from buying the final one. I'm not usually the type of person who needs to have the hardback edition of a book but I do want them all to match on my bookshelf so I've waited for the price to drop a little and I think I will be purchasing the final book soon and then my only issue will be actually reading it.
#2: The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
I think this one is one of my most shameful haven't finished series because I technically started it 10 YEARS AGO. I loved this series as a kid but I didn't have the desire to read on until about a year ago when the curiosity just became too much for me to bare. I have recently acquired all of the books in this series and only have two left to read so I think this one will be off my list soon but I can/'t believe this has been ten years in the making. I can't wait to finish it and maybe you guys will get to see a special post on it...
#1: Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Ugh, the shame I feel. I read the first book two years ago, now and it was phenomenal. just perfection. It was so good, it left me in a book hangover. I read it while I was on vacation in Mexico and I couldn't put it down. So why haven't I continued on with it? I DON"T KNOW. I see it on my bookshelf and I want so badly to know what happens but I don't buy the second book. I went to Barnes and Noble a week ago and I was determined to buy A Million Suns but they didn't have it in stock. I think that it was a sign. Nonetheless, I do plan on finishing the series eventually. I really want to know what happened since the first book.
Alright, those are some of the series that I haven't finished yet but so desperately want to. Let me know what are some of your shameful series that you haven't finished yet and next week, you'll see some of the series that I haven't even started yet. Get your pitch forks and torches ready.
